Columbia Hotels & Resorts was founded 37 years ago, with the opening of the Columbia Beach Hotel and Columbia Beach Resort debuted nearly 15 years later. The multi-award-winning Resort is now spread across 75,000m2 of landscaped gardens, poised above the Mediterranean Sea and framed by the cliffs of Cape Aspro – with 169 charming suites, alongside a collection of restaurants and bars, a spa offering world-class treatments, 3 swimming pools, kids club and creche and the All Saints Chapel – the Resort has welcomed thousands upon thousands of guests, over the year who have entrusted our staff force of 300 members, with their priceless holiday time.
Columbia Restaurants began its journey in 1998, following its establishment as the restaurant division under Schoeller Holdings; initially with the exclusive franchise rights of PizzaExpress, followed by the addition of the Marzano concept in 2001, Columbia Plaza in 2008, Columbia Beach in 2017, followed by the Columbia Confectionery in 2018 (which by 2021 could be found in 3 separate locations in Cyprus). In 2019, Pokeloha was opened, the first poke bar on the island. In total there are 17 outlets, with a staff force of 700.
Spearheaded by a joint venture of two of Cyprus’ most distinctive juggernauts, that of Schoeller Holdings and Muskita Holdings, QLS Cyprus was founded to provide its clients in the hospitality sector with value and results-based solutions in laundry and dry-cleaning services. After all, whilst others see linens and laundry, our staff force of 60 members see stories: the soft, smooth sheets that will invite travellers to a sound night’s sleep; the crisp, bright-white shirt worn proudly by the young waiter during his first shift; the chef’s apron, pressed and pristine, ready to accompany its owner every step of the way as culinary creations are brought to life.
